11 Things Part Deux
A week or so ago, I already played 11 Things but having nothing else to blog about I figured “What the heck?” When I was tagged again.
Matthew from Get Fit Staying Fit tagged me here so here we go again.
Side bar. Matthew if freakin awesome, and I want to be the girl version of him when I grow up fitness wise.
11 Random Things About Me
- I love to sing and do it badly and often.
- I am obsessed with doing an unassisted handstand pushup and it will be mine soon.
- I grew up in Wyoming, left it as soon as I could and am in no way nostalgic for it.
- A couple of years ago, something clicked in my brain and I became a fitness freak. I look forward to pushing myself to bigger badder things.
- At least most of my toenails are black from running.
- I love to travel.
- I haven’t eaten McDonald’s in so long I don’t remember when I ate at McDonald’s last.
- Most of my day is spent in workout clothing.
- Watching Ironman coverage makes me cry. One day I will hear people yell “You. Are. Ironman.”
- I have been a mom to 24 kids.
- Exercising is something I want to do and I go crazy when I don’t work out several hours a day.
11 Questions For Me
- Who do you admire? I admire anybody who realizes they are not happy and changes it. Whether it be that they are overweight and lose it, or out of shape and get into shape, or just unhappy and change the things they are doing that are contributing to their unhappiness.
- Coffee, tea or other? Coke. I have a lifestyle addiction to Coke. I probably had Coke in the baby bottle. It’s purely lifestyle addiction though. When I’m not at home, I hardly ever think of it.
- What are your other hobbies? Other? I run, do handstands, yoga, pushups, workout to what is described as “excessive”. If you are talking other than fitness related, I like movies, games, cooking, and adventures.
- What is the one thing you wish you had never done in your life. I have no regrets. I made the best decisions I could at the time. I am sad at the way some things turned out, but I have been through hell and I have survived. I can do anything.
- What is the one thing you’ve done that you are 100% sure was the right choice? One thing? I fought to keep three kids out of foster care. The process ate me up and spit me out the other end, but fighting for the children was 100% the right thing to do.
- What is the best place you’ve ever visited? All of them. I love going places. I would visit them all again if there weren’t so many other places I wanted to visit.
- Why do you wake up in the morning? Because the world needs me. I am alive. I have a purpose. I go out and find how to best live that purpose.
- Have you done anything like bungee jumping, sky diving, life threatening? Well according to every release I have ever signed, it is all life threatening. I haven’t jumped out of any airplanes or anything. I white water rafted a couple of times and that was super fun.
- What do you love best about your life? That anything is possible.
- What is your favorite go to snack? Without a doubt, cacao and berries. Cacao is coconut oil, honey, vanilla and cacao powder. I can no longer eat chocolate because cacao is so much better.
- What would you say are your best 3 qualities? I am stubborn. I am decisive. I am persistent.
In direct violation to the rules, I am not tagging anyone, because I couldn’t even get 11 last time. So, sue me if you must meme people. I have at least one attorney on retainer.

You are super funny and way more awesome than I thought! You are truly a fighter and I would hate to be on your bad side for sure.
I can’t wait to see the free standing hand stand push up!
Thanks for playing 11 things again, pretty cool that it came around full circle from a different tagger

It was fun. Thanks for tagging me!

Now that I think about it, is stubborn and persistent the same thing? Hmmm

Looks like I probably won’t run Beach to Bay (what? how random for her to put this on 11 things part dos) because I’m going to volunteer to be med staff for Ironman Texas up in the Woodlands the same weekend. I may get to rub down, ahem, stretch some amazing triathletes!

I think stubborn means you can’t be budged or swayed… and persistent means nothing can make you stop moving forward or change your course.

maybe… idk… I guessed… look it up.
