BOTH is awesome shorthand for Born of the Heart. Which is way more awesome than foster care, adoption, step parenting. BOTH refers to children who are yours but did not come out of your body.
BOB is awesome shorthand for Born of the Body. Which means they did.
I differentiate between the two, only to acknowledge the awesome way my family was formed. Also, as the BOTH children in our house are still technically property of the state, we have issues we have to deal with that we wouldn’t if they were adopted, like visits, the Mama drama, CPS visits, licensing visits, inspections and all the other fun stuff that goes with caring for children that are not legally yours.
The kingdom by the sea is where we live, well because we live in a city by the sea but my dad used to call me Anabel lee. Which is similar to Annabel Lee by Edgar Allen Poe.
